This looks like a 1964, it is definitely a C-10, and it’s a short bed with the spare on the side just like ours is.   Click through the picture to get into the set.  This is one of a few sixties chevy/gm trucks in the neighborhood, and arguably with the nicest paint job.  I’ll get a picture of the patchwork 64 later - that one is a magazine street fixture.
This is the kind of color scheme to go with on the front, I think.  Substitute red for green, though.  Also the back of it has great painted in lettering with a white bumper.   I tend to favor paint over chrome (though Clay has a chrome addiction problem in the engine compartment.)
